When I moved to Ann Arbor and was still adjusting to life in America, I was seeking my home base. I needed a community that would not settle for less, but seeking to know and be known by God. Friends that go against the norms, who ask difficult questions and lean into the uncomfortable. A family that showed up for one another. I found that in Evergreen, especially in my discipleship band. We listen, proclaim truth in love, and point each other to Jesus. When I discovered there was dinner every Sunday, there was no turning back!
